Calder Mountain Lodge is a family owned and operated fishing lodge located on Prince of Wales Island, the largest of southeast Alaska's rainforest islands. Our newly constructed main lodge has accommodations for twenty guests with two guests per room. Meals are served buffet style in our spacious dining room.

The lodge offers unsurpassed salt water and fresh water angling opportunities in a self-guided format. Because of its location on the secluded, north tip of Prince of Wales Island, fishermen experience the kind of uncrowded fishing which Alaska was known for twenty-five years ago. Salt water anglers find that they have the hot fishing spots all to themselves as they participate in Alaska salmon fishing, Alaska halibut fishing, red snapper and ling cod fishing and the fishing in Alaska of other species in the protected waters of Sumner Strait.

Likewise, our freshwater fishermen are often the only ones on northern Prince of Wales Island's streams and rivers as they enjoy hooking rainbow trout, dolly varden char, and line snapping spawning salmon.
