About the Owners

Bob and Pat Miller of Preston, Idaho purchased Land's End Lodge in 2003. Bob practiced veterinary medicine for more than 25 years and was dreaming of spending summers in Alaska after retirement. While attending college he worked in Southeast Alaska and his love for Prince of Wales Island has never faded. Bob, Pat, and their children have vacationed in Alaska many times and it was a unanimous vote to buy Land's End Lodge when it became available.

In fact, Land's End Lodge has enabled us an opportunity to work together. Each member of the family is involved with some aspect of running the lodge - such as marketing or maintenance. Bill - the Miller's oldest son (pictured here) - manages the lodge.
